Hydroquinone, a well-studied prescription skin-brightening ingredient. Tretinoin, a prescription retinoid that speeds cell turnover. Fluocinolone, a mild topical steroid that reduces irritation from the stronger combination.

Apply a thin layer to areas of pigmentation in the evening, as prescribed. Used short-term in structured cycles, not continuously.

Most effects are mild and often settle as your skin adjusts. Possible side effects may include dryness, light flaking or peeling, mild redness or warmth, temporary stinging on application, and increased sun sensitivity.

This formula contains hydroquinone and a topical steroid, so it is prescribed in short, supervised cycles. Long-term hydroquinone use can cause ochronosis, a blue-black darkening of the skin. Long-term use of a topical steroid can thin the skin. Stop use and contact your clinician if you notice skin darkening, thinning, or irritation that does not settle.
